Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I've been using this light for a few weeks, to help a sun-loving aeonium plant get through the winter, and it seems to be doing the job. Puts out a lot of light, runs very cool, and the plant has started growing. I was a bit skeptical because it seems like people either love or hate LED grow lights, and some of them tend to fail, but so far this one is going strong. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that I haven't had it for that long, so can't comment on its durability or power consumption. Caertainly preferable to flourescent grow lights of a similar type. FYI, the light it puts out is very purple!
