Designed to resemble the molecular structure of water, this ceiling fan offers a fabulous retro look. Rotational fans such as the Acqua circulate air more efficiently than traditional paddle fans. Increasing the angle of the fan heads to the support poles increases speed of axial rotation. Comes in a brushed nickel finish with handsome mahogany finish wood blades. Includes remote control and integrated halogen downlight. 3-speed motor comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Includes 20" downrod; other sizes available upon request. (UM)

fan blades are so small, it sounds like two desk top fans blowing on any speed except low. Also a clicking sound, but manual says to run it on high for 24 hours to get rid of clicking.

I bought two of these fans. One of the fans came with a broken prop, but the company sent a replacement that arrived within a couple of days. The design of these fans is really cool. You can control the speed of the axis rotation by adjusting the pitch of the two props. Not only that, these things push some serious air. The low setting is strong enough for me. The high setting will practically blow you out of the room. These fans require some breaking in. Some WD40 on the internal gears and a little patience should eliminate any noise. I bought a 20 inch down rod for one of the fans and the other is installed with just the 6 inch rod that came with the fan. I've noticed some wobble with the 20 inch down rod. The fan without the 20 inch down rod works like a dream.
