At bedtime I can turn off the AC and turn on my fan. Saves money. I keep the remote beside my bed all night. If I hear an unusual noise at night, I'm a widow, I can turn on the fan light with the remote and see my phone if needed.
We bought it because we have low ceilings, and we wanted an LED-lighted fan with a low profile. This fits the bill. It also keeps our room cooler than our old fan. The only con is that it usually makes a loud noise for a few seconds when you change speeds. Overall, I'm very happy and will purchase a third one today.
Liked the look of this fan so got it for our family room. Looks good even when off which is a plus as I don't really like the look of most fans. Had a local handyman do the installation which wasn't a big deal.
Installed many fans over the years....this should have been easy..close to ceiling...3 plastic blades...(balanced?)....3 wires from receiver...5 speeds on remote?...loud droning noise on speed # 3....2 identitical fans installed in 2 rooms side by side...same results...they were installed correctly....frequency..harmonics?...and speed #5 way out of balance...on both...and not installer friendly...the simple things that most manufacturers do...customer not happy...not my fault....i guess this the first reveiw?
