We read several reviews about this fan prior to purchasing. We were hesitant because nothing is made very well any more. We replaced a nice looking craft made, 5 blade fan that we had for 15 years. There was nothing wrong with the fan, but we wanted a more modern look. This fan is sleek looking with clean lines, however, it was difficult to install especially on a sloped ceiling. For the price of this fan, we feel that it should circulate much more air. As far as recommending this fan, it is a toss up. If you want a nice clean and stylish look, then yes we would recommend. But, no based on the amount of air being circulated for the steep price of the fan. The air flow should be better.
Fan makes a small bit of noise which drives my daughter a little crazy. Otherwise it is a wonderful fan. The wall control works really well.
Would not recommend this if you need strong lighting.
This fan is a work of art. The curves of the blades served as design inspiration for other items in the room. The light in the fan is not that bright and that seems to be okay. A brighter light might take away from the warmth of the wood. Suggest getting a remote to use with this fan, as it does not have a reversing switch.
