We bought this chandelier to go in a dining room that is positioned within eye sight of our living room, where we had already bought the matching table lamp. These are quality fixtures, and well worth the money. The colors are rich, but still provide enough pure soft lighting to amply illuminate the room. The fixtures are heavy duty, substantial pieces. Part of our incentive to buy the chandelier was our good experience with the table lamp. It is rock solid, heavy, and beautiful. The same goes with our chandelier. When equiped with 4 75 watt bright light CFL bulbs, the light cast by the creamy panels is just toned down enough to be pleasant, but still bright enough to illuminate our burgundy colored dining room. I would definitely rebuy this item.
