We loved this lamp at first but once we realized the design was changed and the arm isn't adjustable, the lamp really gets in the way. When you're getting up from the couch, you have to really watch out that you don't smack your head into the light. It hangs down lower than we want it to. So this guy is going back and we're going to buy the arc lamp with the adjustable base height. It's a shame; this would have been perfect.
