The shade worked wonderfully with an exotic, antique classically styled lamp that was adjoining a dark leather sofa & dark bookcase. In the room were other selected animal print pieces.

I bought 2 different lamps here with the tortise shell and iron look. I put the black shades on them and not only did it kick it up a notch in style but it now ties the 2 lamps together without matching identically. They are on either side of the sofa.
