I was pleasantly surprised how large overall the 52 oz size is and how clear the glass globe is. Takes a good 2 hours before the Lava flows, but the color (green) matches the photo. The sight of the Lava lamp seems to conjure up fond memories for many people my age..... (??). It sits along-side my TV and is the only source of light when its movie time. Very happy with this product.
