I'm using this lamp in my living room next to a contemporary dark red leather sofa. The style complements the clean lines and colors of the sofa. The lamp adequately lights the corner area where it is located. The 30" height is good for my end table and I like the simplicity and clean lines of the design. This is a very good lamp for the price. Would like to have a 3-way switch but got a dimmer to be able to adjust the brightness.
