When received, lamp had dent in base. Since it was minor, we decided to not return the lamp. Love the size. Great reading lamp for den.

I purchased this lamp for Christmas for my elderly parents to use in their family room. When the shade is tilted up there is no glare in their eyes and the lighting level is good for TV watching. The lamp is also good for close work for their failing eyes as they can move it into the best position for the required amount of light. The foot pedal makes it easy to turn off and on. They were so pleased with this lamp that they asked me to order a second one!
