This transitional table lamp boasts a handsome urn-shaped body with a dual silver leaf and brown finish. The base is constructed from resin and achieves the look of a well-aged antique with slight distressing. Topped with a Geneva cream rectangle shade.

We've got these lamps on end tables on each end of a dark brown, leather sofa. They look quite nice, shed adequate light, and help balance the furniture to keep the room from getting somber. The shades are off-white or cream, not a stark white. They seem to transmit the color of the light bulb pretty faithfully. You should know a couple things, like the color. I would describe the color of the jar as "honey gold," like my first car. The web picture is pretty close: ignore the silver description. Also, the construction is resin, as stated. They have done a great job of making it look like a ceramic jar with wood at the top and bottom. Given the low price, I think it looks more costly than it is. The screw in parts are a bit shaky: they need rubber gaskets or washers to keep things from rotating in day-to-day use. This isn't a big problem, but be aware. Assembly was easy. We've had these lamps for about three weeks, and I'm quite pleased with them and myself.
