Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this lamp!! I purchased it to go over my pub table. I live an apartment with very high ceilings, so this adds a very nice look! & I was pleasantly surprised, it was the exact same color as my table!!! Sturdy, heavy & very well made! The foot switch is a plus too! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this lamp!!
