This torchiere-style floor lamp features a black finish for a sleek, contemporary look. This lamp is perfect for a bedroom where extra light is needed, or for seating areas. The halogen lamp comes with a full-range dimmer for easy light control. This is a great design for general room illumination. From the 360 Lighting brand of lamps.

This light is just not bright enough. I was expecting more from a halogen lamp. I have a very small room I wanted lit up, but I can hardly see the difference with this lamp turned on. I thought the lamp was set to a lower dim setting or there was bad connection somewhere, but there's only so many places you can look. The knob is turned all the way up and turning it down makes the room almost completely dark. Maybe and maybe this lamp is good for creating an ambient atmosphere, but for what I wanted (a bright blinding room), this lamp is useless. Assembly was very simple even including the top part. Just twist and tighten all parts together mindlessly.
Sleek appearance, throws good lighting.
I use this product in a dark corner. Very pleased with this lamp.
We use this lamp for extra light in our bedroom. It takes up very little space. It looks great.
It's exactly what I wanted, a nicely designed lamp that illuminates a good sized room and can be turned down as well for soft lighting. I like the solid construction. It wasn't easy to put together, two people would be easier, but it wasn't impossible, took a little patience. I got what I wanted and it's better even that I expected.
Workable and throws good light,
I must agree with everyone who says this is difficult to assemble. Seems like it should be pretty simple, but it is that top piece that had me - and many others it seems - very frustrated The directions are useless, but I have had this type lamp before and I'm also somewhat mechanically inclined so I figured I could do this. After much frustration, I called the store to see if my lamp was defective in some way. I was put through to the stores "expert" in assembling these for display and he was able to talk me through the final steps. I'm about to buy another one and hope I can remember the "secret" to getting the top on properly. Great lamp otherwise, altho I remember when these lamps retailed for $20 :-(
I've used this lamp for a while now. It used to be rated at 175 Watt (same model number). Then, the only person I could find selling 175 watt bulbs was... Lamp Plus. I just went through 2 of those bulbs within 4 months. No I don't run it all the time. The lamp was already dim at 175 watts. With a 150 watt bulb in it, it puts off VERY little light and is not suitable for medium-sized rooms without more lamps. There's really no point in putting a dimmer on this lamp as it never is moderately bright to begin with. The only positive is the light quality - the ambient lighting is nice.
This lamp is excellent
I had a difficult time assembling this lamp, but Lamps Plus was most generous to have me send it back and replace it at no charge. I highly recommned a clearer explanation of how to assemble it, especially the top, shade part. But now that I have it working, I love it. It's just what I wanted.Images/Videos shared by: Win
Service was great.
The light turns off if you turn it on all the way. Then, you need to turn it off to reset it. It's Not as bright as I hoped but it looks nice. It's functional for the price I paid.
I had to take this lamp back to the store after trying to assemble it at home using the instructions which turned out to be wrong, according to the Lamps Plus employee who help me put it together. Lamps Plus should contact manufacturer to ensure that all their products have the correct instructions, instead of some generic ones to fit all their lamps!
Purchased through the clearance center, it looks brand new. It was easy to assemble but a little tricky to get the top head on right. Once assembled, it is brighter than expected (a good thing) and is both stylish & functional.
Difficult to assemble top light part. Instructions were very limited. I spent a very long time trying to figure out how top light is assembled to rest of lamp. Once together, I found it put out limited light. That was a disappointment after all I went through. For the price, not worth it.
