Put this one at the front door and the coordinating sconces on either side of the garage door and at 3 sets of French doors. Even the neighbors commented on how handsome they are and how much better the house looks!

Awesome lamp that will make any area look classy. The color on the website makes it look black, but beware it's not; it's a dark brown, expresso color. It comes with an installation bracket that attaches to a regular round or square junction box. The placement of the screws, however, made it slightly challenging to install; not impossible, just challenging. If installing outside, make sure you caulk the sides with silicone sealant as the mounting base may stick out on the sides from your wall's stucco. You may want to visit their open box site for even better prices on this lamp.

easy to install and change bulbs. big disapponitment - use of max 60 watts bulb does not make area bright enough to entertain in the back yard. 60 watts light is good enough for only 8-10' from the lamp.

The instructions included with this product are for a lantern type fixture, where the top is removed to insert the bulb. No problem for me, but a beginner could have major trouble. I also have the matching wall units, and like both very much.
