Used for formal dinning and large family gatherings. It's just the right size for our high ceiling formal dining space. The beautiful colors and more Tuscan decor appearance is very complementary to our overall decor. The only (small)issue is that it's a little difficult to change the light bulbs due to having to reach down into the rough cut inside glass bulb to turn the fastener ring to release the bulb.

The design allows some sides to hang unevenly, we found the large under dome had to be adjusted by bending the "silver" connection bars slightly to hang level. However, after doing that slight bending, light hung beautifully. Those parts could have become bent in shipping.
