This night light is battery operated, so no electrical outlet needed - you can place it anywhere. A built-in motion sensor automatically activates LED light. "Dusk to Dawn" function means it will only operate in darkness preserving battery life. Operates up to 6 hours of continuous use. Automatically shuts off when no motion is detected for 30 seconds.
