Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The fixture looks OK but it DOES NOT come with a diffuser on the bottom like you would think from the description. It is designed to only take a GU24 CFL which is not your standard screw type. It has 2 pins on the bottom and costs about $4 each. They cannot be dimmed.
