One of the diagrams on the instructions were nearly impossible to see, but thankfully the light came partially assembled - needing to be disassembled to install the glass and bulbs - so you could see how it was supposed to go back together. One of the screws wouldn't unscrew though, so I had to work around that. Thank god for small fingers. Those small fingers also came in handy when attaching the fixture to the mount! The light looks incredible and provides plenty of light for our half-bath/laundry room, but the bulbs put out plenty of heat and there is very little clearance between them and one of the screws that holds in the front glass panel. I have no idea how I am going to change out the bulb when the time comes! Right now, I'd say it is well worth all the trouble it put me through, but we'll have to see if I have the same answer when the time comes to change out the bulbs!
Well packed, it came undamaged and all parts present, very quickly. Kudos to shipping. The assembly diagram could stand to be much larger for those of us without 20/20 vision and using the allen screws & tool for the inner base plate assembly were rather tricky for someone with large hands like me. Since you only have to assemble it once, I can't take points off for that but you'll have to have patience. I can see that changing bulbs will require a step stool, since you'll have to be above the whole mounted fixture for access into a small space but, again, there is always additional "cost" for style. And that's where I'm quite pleased. It draws the eye with texture and curves instead of just jutting out or down like most light fixtures do. Muted but still drawing attention. The three 40W bulbs provide very good light in my 10'X 8' bathroom and I'm considering installing a dimmer to give it more mood or use for a night light. It also allows for versatility in decorating, not presenting a "mission, elegance or cowboy" look by it's shapes. Very few times have I had the satisfaction of buying something and actually had it do or be exactly what I'd wanted. This is one.
