I bought this to hang over a staircase. It's transformed that space from ok to wow. Its really the center piece now - really gives this space its own energy. I have almost 11 ft ceilings, and i hung it down by about 4.5 feet. The lighting is great, the piece is beautiful and looks high quality. Frankly looks a lot more expensive than it is. My handyman installed it, so dont know details for that, but he did not mention any problems. Very happy with the purchase.

I considered returning it once I recieved it but after it was installed I was glad I didn't. Once the light was up and I saw how stunning it looked over my breakfast room table, I immediately installed a dimmer to enhance the mood. I've bought a lot of lights and this might be the best looking one I have purchased.
