I had been shopping for months for floor lamps. I am in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I did pretty much all the NICE stores in Ottawa, the Quebec side, even went to Montréal and didn't find anything that I really liked. I was looking for that special something....I had been looking at the lamps on this website for months also. Read every reviews, search the web....always came back to this lamp and the other 2 that I bought. When I was reading the reviews on this website, I was worried as there were few (not to say) may comments about having received damaged goods, and being in Canada, I was really worried. Well, I took a chance and ordered the 3 lamps. They got to my house in perfect shape, not even a dent on one of the boxes. I am SO pleased with this purchase. I will buy from Lamps plus again for sure when I need lamps. I forget, I am very picky and always want quality at good price, I got both.

If you look for a bright lighting, this is not the one. It has limited illumination. It does look very classy. I bought that on sale for under $100. With that price, it is worth it.

Bought the lamp on SALE, BIG mistake. Received a damaged product, shade cracked . Packaging was in perfect condition, product was allready damaged when packed at point of destination. Let me know that sale item is damaged. If known, would not have purchased.

My one concern with this floor lamp is that it is not very sturdy, so you'll need to consider the placement if there are young ones in the house. My 10 month old knocked it over easily so we had to block her access to it.
