This lamp looks great and provides good illumination. The oval style is good looking and allows it to fit well on a bedside table. When lit, the shade is a light tan or beige color.

This is an extremely stylish lamp. I purchased two and using them as nightstand lights. They are very modern yet I have placed them with traditional furniture! Really adds to the look and feel of the room!

We are using two lamps on a pair of nightstands. The oval shade doesn't take up as much real estate as a round one does. It is beautiful on or off. It's sturdy, and seems well made. Cons? Both finials were broken, but the store replaced them promptly.
