We installed this in the kitchen. The luminosity is good for a kitche; for a bedroom or dining room, you might want to install a dimmer. The fixture is not hard to install. Just make sure you install it before you attach the bulbs and diffusers. It is attractive and funky--we like it. The one downside that I have noticed is that the white corded wires inside the canister that attaches to the ceiling show through the small holes in the canister. Overall, though, the fixture seems well-built and it definitely attracts attention.

Looks great in new kitchen. Soft but effective lighting. My electrician son, installed it in about 20 min. But didn't seem really all that hard. Nice to have extra bulbs and parts included in purchase.

We have this light over our dining room table and it is nice that the base is off center as our outlet is not right above the table so the longer part can make it look more centered over the table. The problem with the light is that the bulbs are always going off and you have to go up and fiddle with the bulb cover for each one to get it to come back on. Right now 4 are out and I just adjusted some others a week ago. I am actually probably going to put it in a different room as I changed my mind for chrome finish in the dining room. It does give off a lot of light for the area. It was a bit tricky to get all those bulbs attached but we haven't broken any yet with fiddling around with them when the light goes out. Would only recommend if you really love the style.

We were looking for a contemporary ceiling light fixture that was attractive, maybe unconventional, that can throw off a lot of light and would work with a low ceiling. This met all the above. My wife was skeptical but it was she who "lit up" when she walked in the door... her first comment was "beautiful". It was not too difficult to assemble although I did manage to crack one of the glass globes. Fortunately and very considerately, Possini packs spares! We are using it with a dimmer, which I highly recommend because it is such a bright light -- we generally will keep it at about 50%. Very pleased with this purchase, the price and LampsPlus.com, whose representatives in chat and on the phone were so helpful with this and our other purchase. Now, on to the matching Lilypad floorlamp.

The fixture is attractive and very easy to install. One thing that bothers me is that it hums when connected with the dimmer.

This light looks fantastic in a modern master bath. Light looks much better on the ceiling then it does in the pictures. If this light looks good in the picture, and you are reading this review, just but it, you wont be dissapointed. It really goes well with a contemporary design.

Love this, we get compiments on it sll the time. The best feature is that it is off-center, so it works realy well over a table where the electrical box is not quite cetnered over where the table goes. One drawback is that our child's bedroom is right over the kitchen so jumping on the bed upstairs someties causes bulbs to loosen. Another drawback is that not all of the round things light up, so people think you have bulbs out when they are not.

Great fixture

Pros:
Dimmable, Attractive Design

We have this fixture on our balcony over a couple of reading chairs. It is extremely attractive and works fine with an electronic dimmer. I can't speak to ease of installation as it was put in by our electrician as part of house construction. Over three-and-a-half years we have had to replace four of the bulbs.

The first thing I said when I first saw my kitchen almost a year ago was that I had to replace the kitchen light fixtures. The one hanging over the stove was a bit off-center and a pendant (HATED IT) and I mulled over ideas for replacing it for a long time. Then, I saw this fixture and immediately had to have it. I love the fact that it's off-center, so when I hung it it looked centered over the island! It really opened up the kitchen too because there's not a light hanging down in the line of sight right in the middle of the kitchen (what was with that?). It's not a large light and it's way up high, so the chrome does not clash with the brushed nickel and stainless in my kitchen. It does take patience to get it all put together, and I used DH's help to hold it while I made the connections. I also added a dimmer switch because it is very bright. I can hardly with to show it off!
