Installation is a little tricky, but by the third one it was fine. The screws to attach the plate are just very tiny. We used these in our family room/home theatre room and they add a really nice ambient light. Love them!

This fixture can hold a 100W max bulb and compact florescents will fit in the narrow shade. The light is very bright and even which made it perfect for our daughter's bathroom vanity. This fixture is easy to install. Just be aware that the mounting plate is rectangular and the slots for the mounting screws may not align with the existing electrical box in the house. I had to drill an additional hole in the mounting plate to mount the fixture vertically. Easy fix.
