I was worried that the purple colors on this lamp wouldn't be the "right purple color" for my living room but it blended in perfectly. It is cheerful to look at and I just love the color combinations on the base of this lamp. It was slightly smaller than what I was thinking but still ended up being the perfect lamp for me. The shade was made well and love the purple.
