I gave this lamp 4 stars because the on/off knob will fall off at times (poor design). Other than that, it has been a wonderful addition to my study ware needs. I have a lot of materials to read for college and work. This lamp sits next to my recliner and nicely illuminates my reading material while comfortably relaxing in the recliner. The lamp is sturdy and I am sure will last for many years.
