Great diffused lighting
I put this in my remodeled bathroom on the wall above my tub. I LOVE the shadows it casts- looks like a giant flower. Installed it on a dimmer switch to adjust the mood. It makes me happy every time I turn it on. Even when it's off it's gorgeous.Images/Videos shared by: Tracy Mongo
This is a great conversation piece. We installed it in a turrit bar area. It is a great chrome accent that goes with our chrome faucet and handles. People love this addition to our bar area. It cast a cool light with many shadows but has good overall lighting for its size! We love this!
an AMAZING light! It is so beautiful and the shadows on the ceiling are amazing! It is very sturdy and heavy. A good buy.
We placed this in a hallway upstairs. The light is beautiful off and looks like a work of art. When turned on, the amazing shadows cast on the ceiling makes the light so much more. I can't say enough about it! It is heavy and I held it as my husband installed it. Such great quality for the price. I will probably get another for the bedroom.
Fixture is used in study, gives great additional lighting, everyone that comes over, just truly enjoys the way it looks, the style, and shine. so glad i bought it!
I used this light fixture in my art Gallery as a sconce in a stairway. It really adds drama to the landing area which is exactly what I wanted. It really is a "wow" piece. It is very heavy and took two of us to install it...one to hold it up while the other did the wiring.
I love this item as a wall sconce. The effects of the lighting image on the wall is dazzling. I want to invite people over at night just to show it off. As soon as they enter my house, it is hung the foyer high, center of a beautiful wall painted a dark bluish grey. I love it!
we used this at a beach house
Excellent centerpiece adding great light and shading in the living room.
As other raters had warned, the fixture is heavy and I had to help the installer hold it up as he installed it. Although I ordered it to place above my bath tub in the bathroom, it was so gorgeous, I wanted everyone to see it so I installed it in the kitchen over the table. I have other recessed separate lighting in the kitchen, so the fact that this fixture does not give off a lot of light is not a problem. As a matter of fact, with all the other lighting off, it creates a warm intimate ambiance. I love it.
This little light is an exceptionally useful fixture in that it can go so many places and be a wonderful visual and decorative fixture without being an overstatement. It really hugs the ceiling, so it is great for regular ceilings and it throws the most wonderful array of light because it is close to the ceiling. I can imagine this as a wonderful pair of sconces in a bathroom or over a fireplace. I have used it in a long hallway and liked it so much I put in two. The effect is wonderful. I was surprised at how much ambient light it does provide, as so many hallway appropriate lights are just too dim. I would imagine the problem with the silver tipped bulb burning out is because it gets too hot from the reflection of the silver. No matter, you will love this fixture.
We have two of these lights in our living room. Previously, we had standard apartment lighting and we never used our overheads even though it was our living room. Just too bright, and too harsh even though we ate in there and pretty much everything else. With these lights, and a dark taupe ceiling, the whole room has been transformed into artwork, especially at night. Just gorgeous.
Used as wall light gave a nice reflection on my wall paper. Looks quiet chic.
I had my dad install these. I bought 2 for 2 seperate hallways and they look great. The only con is that they're a little heavy but they're so awesome. I absolutely love them!
