I have my fountain outside on a covered porch surrounded by potted plants and a bench. I love it! The only thing wrong is that the pump dial doesn't work so I cannot turn the water flow down. Other than that I am so glad I purchased this particular fountain.

Given that I love all things Italian, this will be a nice addition to my potted plants. Unfortunately, there are 2 issues with the water flow: (1) It has a very limited range of settings...even at the lowest setting, it still splashes out of the fountain. (2) Even at the lowest setting, it's LOUD. I'd hoped for a nice tinkle of sound, but this is definitely loud. Rather than put it right next to my sitting area as planned, I must locate it off the deck. All that said, last year I bought a similar but smaller one at [...]...I think their original price was $300 and I got the season's last one for about $160 but returned it...the quality wasn't very good and no pump was included. This fountain is definitely superior!
