Installed this beautiful light in our new bathroom at the lake house. The nautical design is what we were going for. using indoors was great. It casts a beautiful pattern on the walls and adds so much.

Living 3 miles from the Atlantic ocean, corrosion is a concern, and the wire cage began to rust lightly within a year, but the rest of the fixture remains rust-free. Fixture is quality built with easy installation & clear instructions. The clear glass bulb has remained weather tight; interior remains free of bugs and water, even after 2.5 years since install. I was concerned about the weather resistance of the fasteners for the wire cage which is at the top of the fixture, but they have been weather-tight and rust-free; the washers to keep the wire cage weather-tight appear to be easily available from the local hardware store. Because of the design and clear glass bulb, the light is bright and casts evenly all the way around. Interior of glass bulb is large enough for standard medium-based compact fluorescent light bulbs and larger outdoor medium-base sized CFLs too.

I have this fixture at the front of my house and it looks great! Beautiful finish and it has a modern/nautical look to it. Great illumination and easy to install!

These are actually installed in my teenage son's room. He picked them out for his room, and my initial reaction was, no way, these are for outdoors. I gave in and they actually look cool. Rather than sconces, he has 2 of these flanking his bed. They are a perfect fit for a funky contemporary boys room.
