We put it up in our bathroom and it looks great. The bevel follows the curve of the mirror, and the roping around the inside of the frame is nicely done. It sort of has an antique-y finish that looks a lot like the picture here. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend this much on a mirror, but I love it.

I bought this to use in our bathroom. It is a sturdy, heavy mirror and the quality was even better than I expected. I bought it for its shape and actually planned to paint it when I ordered it. When I saw the braided trim and the finish in person, I decided to leave it! It's beautiful!
