When I saw this mirror at another merchant, I just had to have because it is different, unique. At the time, I remember trying to talk myself out of buying the mirror because the price was a bit steep ([$])--I thought. But I LOVED the mirror nonetheless. Then I thought about where in my home I'd use it; it ended up in my dining room, a very traditional room with mostly antique pieces. The antiques in the room are lovely, and the mirror is the first invitation (as it's the first thing one sees upon entering my foyer) to discussion about the other centuries-old furniture in the room.
