cheap contruction;

Spent way too much time trying to attached lampshade to harp .. one latch cover did not fit; IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO STRAIGHTEN THE SHADE ... RETURNED! (Shade in store was also crooked!) I did ask about this "defect", but was told "it needed tweeking"!!! NOT Awesome design, but cheap construction of lamp shade!

Great Lamp, but terrible shade and Lamps Plus wouldn't exchange the shade. Had to buy two more from Restoration Hardware. Shade looks white in the pictures and to the eye, but when you turn any kind of bulb on has a pink liner built in to the shade which destroys the light. Had to buy 2 shades from Restoration Hardware (fortunately 20% off. So same price as Lamps Plus tried to sell me a replacement shade

Purchased two of these lamps for a guest room. Love the base: heavy and appearance is what I was looking for. Needed a lamp that appeared transparent on top of small nightstands. Now the downside: the shade looks white/off white but when you turn it on it presents a pinky cast even in the daytime. This was not how the lamp shade looked on the floor at Lamps Plus.
