We put these in a new bathroom with carrara marble and they add to the elegance. I was concerned that the black shade might diffuse the light too much but the lighting is sufficient. They are on a dimmer switch so that at night they work as a beautiful nightlight. Make sure to use a standard circular electrical box as a rectangular one won't work.

This lamp looks even nicer in person. Looks gorgeous. We installed two of this on two sides of a mirror in our small bathroom and it gives plenty of light. I was concerned because the recommended light bulbs were 40w what but the bathroom looks bright with a beautiful sparkles coming out of crystals. LOVE IT.
