Attractive Design, Good Lighting Area, Easy To Install
Anywhere you'd use a can, Primary Light Source
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I put four of these in kitchen during major renovation in 2008. Hardest part was convincing California electrician to install an incandescent can, with no ballast. He was amazed by light output, with ONLY 12 WATTS. Downlighting is perfect application for LED technology, very directional (CFL light goes all directions, gets lost in the can). Lots of light, instant-on, no flicker, no bulb to replace. You'll remodel again before this unit burns/dims out - 15, 20 years, seriously. Note re: using dimmers, wattage is so low, many dimmers won't work with it, unless you gang several LR6's together.
