This lamp replaces my old one. The neck extension is much longer than my old one. The magnifying lense is larger too. I like the handle on the top that allows me to move it into position when I want to use it, and move it away when I'm done.

This product is for hobby use - aid in painting and designing small Star Wars figures. It would be better to use it as a permanent fixture than to move it for every use. I have clamped it to my kitchen table which sometimes is difficult (because of the table style) then remove it at meal time.
