On line description did not specify shade color which has a dark lining and results in a tan color when lit and did not match my decor. The imitation brass base looks cheap. After it is unpacked to examine, it is impossible to repack to return. Very difficult to assemble (45 min. to 1 hr.).

This was the perfect lamp for my bedside table in the master bedroom. It is a great height for a major light source and to use to read at night. It would look fabulous in numerous settings and the lamp shade is beautiful.
