It's a pretty lamp, however, on my computer the swag on the shade looks almost like a sage green, but it arrived the same color tan as the rest of the shade, and the flowers on the corners stick out a lot further; not that these are bad things, just differences I noticed. The painting looked a tad off in some places too, but still overall a nice lamp.

I am using this beautiful little lamp on my kitchen desk. The colors were perfect for my theme, and it was exactly the right height to sit atop the desk and clear the upper cabinets. It gives off the right amount of light and is a beautiful illumination at night. The base and shade style is unique and both are well made.

This lamp is so ornate it made me feel as though I had purchased an art piece rather than a lamp. The shade is beautiful as well as the base. It's literally a piece of art. I gave it four starts because it would only take a 60 watt bulb which wasn't quite bright enough for my needs.

I've had this lamp for a couple of years in my mostly traditional living room. It is on an antique piecrust type table and looks like it was custom made for that spot. It is well made, the shade is so unusual and beautiful, and I've received many compliments. Some have asked if it is a converted antique. Only 4 stars because I wish that it had a 3 way switch which would have increased its versatility. This is a second purchase from Lamps Plus and I would definitely purchase from them again.
