We used this to replace a hideous, 70s era, dining room fixture. The previous light besides being ugly, hung low enough to hit your head. When not using the dining room, we put the table against the wall and walk through, so the previous hanging light was a problem.

This light was just what I was looking for, and a perfect fit in my kitchen! I needed additional lighting and these lights are adjustable. We took out the typical dated florescent lighting (the kind with the large sheets of plastic on the ceiling) and created a lovely eye attraction! This was very affordable and easy to install. If I would change anything, it would be to change the globes to white (only if brighter light is needed), an easy enough fix... Tried to attach a picture but couldn't (my fault).
