Great Period Lighting from the 1930`s

A perfect choice for period room decor. Fabulous design and scale, making them multi purposeful in most any room. They truly resurrect a time of glamour and luxury from the 1930`s. They were so impressive, that everyone that saw them said to put another pair on the other side of my arched entryway wall. So I did and they are just wonderful.

Pretty, but dim light...
By Decorette Verified Reviewer from Carmel, CA on 7/12/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design
Cons:
Difficult to Install, Difficult To Change Bulb, Difficult to Clean
Best Uses:
Ambiance
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I love the design of this product, it looks very elegant BUT, I used them horizontally over my kids sinks and they are just very dim. They would be great in a powder room or something like that, positioned close to one another. I am just glad that I have recessed lighting in the room as well or I would return them. Also, when it comes time to change the 40 watt bulbs, it is going to be a serious ordeal!

I purchased two of these to go on either side of a mirror in my powder room. I have nickel finishes in that room. These lights were PERFECT and provided a really luxurious look. I saw them in person locally where they look much more substantial then the picture then got them here for price. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Very Classy
By VET Verified Purchaser from Nashville, TN on 10/21/2008
Pros:
Convenient On/Off, Attractive Design
Cons:
Low Wattage
Best Uses:
Decoration, Ambiance
Describe Yourself:
Professional
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These are very attractive light fixtures and accomplished the look I was trying to achieve. I have not had to change the light bulbs yet but it's not going to be a simple to task to do when we need to. I would, also, recommend additional general lighting (recessed perhaps) because they do not give off a lot of light. I'd still use them again.
