The lights provide great reading light. We installed one on either side of our bed in the master bedroom. Their clean lines give them a modern look and their scale works perfectly with our king-sized bed. I love that we can swing them out of the way when not in use. They included sleek chrome tubes that cover the chords and I loved that they can be plugged in, or hard- wired. The only design flaw that I came across was that to install the cover plate was difficult as the screws are very small and had to be screwed in right up against the wall in a tiny space that even my thinnest screw drivers had a hard time fitting in. Bottom line: Gorgeous modern lights; not so fun to install, but worth the money.

This lamp is very nice looking and seems sturdy so far. The wall lamp gives our room a less cluttered feel than table lamps. It is worth mentioning, we were looking for an espresso finish for our dark cherry furniture, not "weathered black" for the chrome version. But we were surprised the finish was more dark olive-green colored. We were prepared to paint the lamp base anyway.

Great looking lamp. Use it for reading in bed. Great light source. Has dimmer switch. My concern is first one came broken. Seams are not welded strong so I have concerns with them breaking. All in all, if it doesn't break, great looking and functional.
