My one complaint with this product is the catalog description vs. reality. Description: "This urn table lamp features a lush, two-tone bronze finish..." Sounds like the base is bronze, right? Wrong. The base is resin or ceramic with a BRONZE FINISH. Ok, that's what the description says, so guess I wasn't paying attention. Anyhow, for the price I can't really complain, and this demure lamp fits and looks just right on top of my office's wood file cabinet. Due to the single wattage bulb, consider a dimmer. I bought the "300 Watt White Tabletop Dimmer, (19049)" at Lamps Plus, then later found the essentially identical "Lutron 300 Watt White Credenza® Lamp Dimmer With Night Light" for 27% less online.

I purchased this lamp as a gift for a couple who let us stay in their home for a weekend while they were away and we were in town to visit our granddaughter.
