Beautiful look with a few drawbacks
We bought three of these fans in Satin Natural Bronze, two for bedrooms with no existing fixture. We wanted something traditional in design, which is hard to find anymore in ceiling fans. The colors are beautiful, and the finish is simple but elegant. I appreciate how easy it'll be to clean the fans and blades; there really aren't nooks and crannies. The fan and colors look exactly as pictured online. The operation has been smooth and quiet.
I have a few complaints, though. First is QA. One of the three fans doesn't work. Our electrician couldn't figure out why, so we had to order a replacement we'll be installing ourselves to save further expense. Definitely inconvenient. I also don't like that wall controls are an extra expense (and not insignificant) and that there are no remotes compatible with these fans. Lastly, the air flow seems weaker than from the original 70s-era fan that was in its place before, but we have no specs-based comparison point.
The price was right through our lighting company, and the classic look and color scheme sealed the deal. But these fans fall short of ticking all the boxes for me. This has been my first experience with Kichler, and I'm not sure my takeaway.

Great Quality Outdoor Fan!
Looks simple but beautiful, and works great for my small covered porch. If you have a big area, you should go with another model that is bigger & more blades. Excellent quality, looks & feels super sturdy, and I'm pretty sure it will withstand the elements of nature (heat, humidity). It has honestly exceeded our expectations!

Very Beautiful Patio Ceiling Fan
I Received This Product A Few Weeks Ago And I'm So Glad To Say That We Love This 52' Basics Pro Patio Ceiling Fan . It Was Super Easy To Install. We Didn't Install On The Patio But Instead In Our Living Room. It Fit Perfect As We Have High Ceilings And Works And Blows So Much More Air Than Our Previous Fan . I Can Tell The Difference Between The Two . We Love The Matte White Finish On The Blades .It's Very Beautiful . You Will Not Be Disappointed With This Fan Although It Did Not Come With A Light We Purchased One That Fits Perfect .

Cool Breeze
This fan actually feels different on the way air circulates as does have a strong revolution but very quiet at the same time. The unit came without a light kit but was easily solved. I was able to purchased one and came ready to install. Just a simple snap to the already available connectors. The smooth design is simple but elegant. The packaging was superb very well protected. The simple step by step instructions are easy to follow. All wiring are labeled for easy understanding to does that are installing themselves without much of electrical knowledge. Safety guidelines and warnings are very clear. So far feels sturdy and I am enjoying the cool breeze.

I am a FAN of the Kichler Basics Pro Patio fan
The Kichler Basics Pro Patio 52 inch blade sweep ceiling fan in white was very well packaged with all of the instructions and items needed to easily follow the step-by-step instructions for mounting. I live in a high humidity climate and was super excited that this ceiling fan not only looks sleek and of good quality but it is damp rated for high humidity areas like mine! The fan was easy to install with the provided directions and in approximately half an hour my outdoor seating area was transformed both aesthetically and very well circulated air! The fan has three forward speeds and reverse speed to accommodate any season. I spend a lot of time on my patio and this fan definitely has helped circulate the air. You can purchase a light for this fan which i may consider at a future time. On its high speed airflow is 4367 CFM with low speed at 1522 CFM. The fan easily promotes airflow efficiently and has added that extra touch of beauty to my patio which is of an average outdoor size. I look forward to many years of use and enjoyment of the Kichler Basics Pro Patio 52 inch blade sweep fan!

Perfect!!
Absolutely needed this for my front porch, it helps so much In this heat. My porch would stay so hot it was almost impossible to sit out here and enjoy the day, but with this fan hangin it helps so, so much. It dropped them temp by at least 15 degrees and I'm able to enjoy my days on my porch !! Works great, very easy to put up and together. Definitely worth the purchase!!!!

Decent basic fan.
It's a nice looking fan and it's great as a basic model. It is easy to install. My husband's one complaint was that the wiring diagram did not reflect the actual wiring in the fan we received. The air flow created by this model was much better than our previous one, but we were also disappointed with the lack of a light with the model. The fan is very good, but the lack of lighting and the small inconvenience of a poor wiring diagram detracted from it's overall value.

Start to finish: a nice breeze!
This was one of the most easy home additions I have made to my house. This outdoor patio fan was the perfect add to my outdoor living space. It's easy installation allowed me to put it together before mounting it so I didn't have to work standing on a ladder working above my head for too long. I cannot seem to get the fan to reverse for some reason but it comes with the capability to do so (probably my doing during installation). I wish the chain was a bit longer but overall this fan is great for my space, easy to install and looks sleek. I was worried about the light of the fan attracting/killing bugs and getting stuck in the light cover but the connection has been snug and it has been a problem. I have a couple ceiling fans in my house and this one is by far the smoothest and admits quite a bit of air which is nice in these Minnesota summers.

Makes porch time enjoyable
We installed our 52" Basics Pro Patio Fan on our screened in back porch. It was easy to install and it definitely helps circulate some air and make our porch time more enjoyable! It doesn't vibrate or rock at all, runs super smooth and quiet, so it's not a distraction. Even on the low setting, it makes it so much nicer! We are able to spend more time outside enjoying our screened in porch since we got it!

Super quite patio fan with optional flush or pole
Received Kichler 52" Basics Pro Patio Fan Matte White for outside patio usage. Packaging and shipping were top notch. First thing noticed was pre-mounted bolts with blue lock glue on blade arms. This fan came with 3 locking plastic tabs for securing motor during shipping so damage didn't occur. All fasteners for attaching fan motor and blades had spares in case one goes missing. This model came with 2 mounting options for flush or included 4" pole. Kichler fans come with secure cabling that secures unit if mounting on high ceilings. Everything went smoothly for attaching flush mounting and attaching blades using drill bit to speed up installation. Went with flush mounting due to low 8' ft patio ceiling height. Good trick to hold fan in place during flush mounting when attaching 3 motor wire nuts was to use vise grips on secure cable against box bracket. Also came with stick weights but were not needed to balance blade operation. Overall, this fan is heavy duty and moves air without making motor sound. There's no light kit with this model but finding Kichler standard kit nearby can be simple to install. So far this fan has met expectations in performance and overall value for damp location usage.

Great patio fan!
We got this matte white ceiling fan for our new outdoor patio, we had our electrician install it under our deck and it looks really nice, we have a white trex ceiling and it matches very nice. It is very clean looking and puts out the right amount of breeze when we need some air movement, I'm very pleased with my new fan!

You'll love it!
This is a stylish, high quality fan. It's whisper quiet and a breeze (pun intended) to install. It took me less than 30 minutes start to finish, and I am barely a novice when it comes to DIY. You will love this fan.

Great fan
This fan is exactly what we needed to finish off our patio. It fits perfect in the space and was easy to install ourselves. The color is perfect and the controls are easy. It creates a nice breeze in a stagnant area especially when it's hot outside.

Perfect size for the patio
This 52" patio fan by Kichler is the perfect size for smaller patios. It is lightweight and easy to install. It would be great to use in smaller areas like a workshop or garage workshop area where you don't necessarily need a light. I do ferl it is made of very good quality materials. My husband and i put it up and bought a second one to put up with it as our patio is larger but if you have an apartment sized patio or one the size of a bedroom this will work fine. I love the speeds of the fan as well. Overall i would highly recommend this fan!
