How bright are they?

BEST ANSWER: The tape light has a light output of 650 lumens which is approximately comparable to a 40 watt incandescent bulb.

Looks cool; functions poorly
I wish I could recommend these lights. They’re a great idea in theory and are nice and bright when lit... but they do not adhere to the cupboard! The adhesive on the strip just isn’t strong enough. Within minutes of being stuck in place, the whole strip peels off and is left dangling. That, plus the fact that there were literally no directions on how to attach the connectors, makes a good rating hard to give. Super-frustrating.
