BEST ANSWER: Yes and if you buy the lowest watt version you can light up a room while still being able to look directly at the bulb without hurting your eyes!

Pretty but not long lasting.
Overall, I like this bulb. It is pretty and gives off good light when it’s on. However, after one year, the bulb looks black when it is off. It still works and looks normal when on, but since it’s in a clear fixture, I’m feeling like I want to replace it.

Beautiful soothing light
