Will these work in can lights?
DEBORAH H on Mar 22, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I do not see why not. The bulb features an internal Microwave motion sensor that does not require line of site to activate so the bulb can be used in enclosed fixtures. Because the recess light is only opened on the bottom, it will limit the sensors degree range.

Will this bulb work through a clear glass ceiling shade?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, as long as the sensor is unobstructed it will work just fine.
Would this work in a normal lamp near a window?
A shopper on Feb 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hi - No, the bulb has to have a clear view of sight in order for the motion sensor to work. It cannot be blocked by a regular table lamp shade.

Led sensor bulb
Ordered bulb for carport. A little expensive but So far it works well. Sensitive to leaves and wind so goes on randomly but better than alternative of wiring for motion light.
