Pros and cons
Purchased for bedroom in new home with ceiling box pre-wired with two switches. Simple assembly and installation. Followed instructions precisely. Alas, remotes would not program. Looked through supplied parts to find a wireless receiver for the remotes not referenced in the parts list nor the installation instructions. Diagram on receiver indicates it must be hard wired between the switches and the fan in the ceiling. There is no receiver built into the motor assembly. Instead, assembly instructions simply require attachment of electrical connections from fan to power without intervening receiver. On top of it, at 4.5" x 2.5" x 1" the wireless controller is too large to fit in a ceiling box or anywhere in the fan housing. Solutions...(1) return; (2) find deeper ceiling box and retrofit ... complicated solution; (3) go with wall switches only to control light and fan... defeats the purpose of ordering a remote control fan. Bottom line, recommend for new construction only so that components can be added before boxes are installed and drywall added. BTW, the manufacturer does not take calls to assist with technical questions on weekends.

Pros: Clean lines, Attractive, Good price, Solidly Built, Easy to assemble

Cons: Needed Parts Don't Fit, not as advertised, Doesn't Fit Ceiling Box, Instructions Incomplete
