beautiful fan - but $100 to replace the light
I love this fan, although we have high ceilings and it's not strong enough to create a good amount of air in our room - it looks nice and does at least circulate air. A big drawback for me, is after 3 years of owning the fan, we had to replace the light bulb only to find out we have to replace the whole light housing which costs $100. I wish someone told me that before I purchased, it would have been taken into consideration - that's why I am sharing that here.

Good airflow
I read the many reviews on this ceiling fan and decided to purchase it based on those reviews. My main purpose for the fan is to keep my bedroom cool during sleep hours since we don't keep the a/c running while we sleep. There's 3 settings for the fan. I used to have two portable fans running in my bedroom prior to purchasing this ceiling fan. Now I don't have the need to bring in the two portable fans anymore. Lastly, there were difference of opinion on the lighting that comes with the fan from the reviews I've read. The light is very bright on full setting. Fortunately, it can be dimmed, which is why we tend to dim it. Unfortunately, it works more like a spot light rather than lighting the entire room with the same intensity. The lighting we previously had in our bedroom wasn't that great before, so the lighting wasn't a deal breaker for us. For those who have great lighting in their rooms now, I would probably keep searching. We are keeping the fan because as I stated before, our main purpose for this purchase was to keep our room cool during the hot summer nights. This fan definitely provides that comfort for us while we sleep.

Pros: Attractive, Circulates Air Well, Range of Speeds, Easy to install
Best Uses: Smaller Rooms, Air Circulation, Alternative to AC

Very nice
There was nothing in the center of the ceiling, so had to install from scratch and use wiring from wall sconce. We bridged between the ceiling joists just above the drywall for the electrical box. The ceiling fan itself has very long wires which were a little difficult to gather and put into the ceiling cover. Something that could support the fan very close to the ceiling while doing the wiring would help, but a second person is pretty essential.

Now installed it looks great and is very bright on the highest setting, even with the low wattage LED. It's very quiet on low and medium speed a little noisier on high. It's very attractive.

Pros: Range of Speeds, Works in Both Directions, Attractive, Circulates Air Well, Quiet

Best Uses: Decorative, Alternative to AC

Beautiful Fan
This fan is beautiful. I bought it for my living room to replace a standard ceiling fan because I am going with a more minimal look. I liked it so much, I bought the same one for my bedroom and a similar one for my spare bedroom. The light is beautiful and dimmable and the fan has 3 speed settings. It is pretty, quiet and works! Love the remote too, especially for the bedroom. I've received lots of compliments on it.

Pros: Range of Speeds, Circulates Air Well, Quiet, Attractive

Best Uses: Decorative, Air Circulation, Alternative to AC

Great looking / great function / bad light / fix for clicking noise
Great looking fan, moves lots of air, very quiet motor.
2 issues:
1) light is terrible, feels like a flood light, shadowy and cold. We opted to keep fan because love the look and function but not use the light, using bedside lamps instead
2) clicking noise when fan is running is caused by lightweight cone-shaped piece that hides connection that sits on top of fan...not actually connected... and spins at a different pace than fan motor thus creating a noise. My fix: get adhesive felt tabs at a hardware store (like the ones used to quiet a cabinet door) and apply 3 or 4 to the bottom of the cone edge so if it spins with fan, doesn’t make a noise. It works!!!!

Simply Awesome!
This fan is well made, quiet, and attractive. It was a breeze to install.
I did not use the remote control that came with the fan as I already had a switch plate and speed control that I liked. There were no instructions for wiring without the remote - just make sure the neutral (white) wire and ground (green) wires are connected properly before connecting the other two for the fan and light.
I am impressed with how uniform the breeze is from this fan. I have never seen anything like it from normal flat-blade fans. There is no need to move around under it to find the best breezy spot.

This is a beautiful fan, it really gives a great look to my bedroom and adds a touch of design, since we don't have central A/C. I love the remote control and settings.

Pros: Circulates Air Well, Attractive, Range of Speeds, Works in Both Directions

Broke just after the one year warranty expired
I really liked this fan and was going to buy another for a different room. But then it broke - one year and one week after I bought it. I don't know if it can be fixed. And I am not sure I want to pay $280 a year for a fan - not to mention the cost of installation. So sad.
