BEST ANSWER: This is a dual mount fan, meaning it does not have to be installed with a downrod.
Can this fan be mounted on an angled ceiling?
Katherine P on Jul 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. You have to purchase a separate angled mounting canopy (half cup) that covers the ceiling mount apparatus. Lamps plus sells it and the color matched my oil rubbed fan. I also purchased a longer rod to make sure the body of the fan and blades hung low enough to keep the blades from hitting the ceiling on the low side of the angle. There might be sharper angled mount covers for severe angled ceilings. I found out on line how to measure the degree of ceiling angle. Mine is not that severe. I will see if I have a photo to attach.
Which remote control dimmable ceiling fan/light has the most lights/watts?
A shopper on Jul 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Most of today's ceiling fans have a light output of 75-120 watts. Please contact one of our lighting specialists via phone, email, or chat. They can assist you in selecting the best ceiling fan for your lighting needs.
What is the total wattage output?
A shopper on Jul 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The light kit uses three 40 watt candelabra bulbs for a total wattage output of 120 watts.
Can this fan be use with wall switches? We have two switches installed by the builder which one will dim the light and the other one will turn the fan on and off or visa versa?
Linda K on Jun 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: yes it can. You can use two separate switches or a single switch with a dimmer function. The remote is a fantastic feature and can be located in another, high use area of the room
Love this fan
Does the remote come with a wall mount?
Suzanne L on Jun 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I believe so, but am not certain because I was not there for installation and our prior fan had the same remote and existing wall mount.
Can you use the wall outlet to turn the fan on and off or only through the remote?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You must first turn the fan "ON" using the remote.
You then can turn the fan "OFF" and, later, "ON" using the wall switch.
Of course, you can still use just the remote for "ON" and "OFF."
(The remote also controls the speeds of the fan, the "reverse direction,'" and the light.)
is the light dimmable?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, you must hold down light button on the remote until you have reached the desired level and the same goes for making the light brighter. If you hold down the light button and continue to hold it down, the light will go through the different levels of brightness until it goes completely dark and the same goes for making it brighter.

Perfect choice!
I was not sure this fan would work in my average sized bedroom. Also, I have dark cherry furniture and wasn't sure about the walnut finish. I had nothing to worry about. Installation was a breeze (no pun intended), the finish blended nicely with other furniture in the room and it is SO QUIET making it perfect for sleeping. Very easy to operate with the remote. Light can be dimmed and at it brightest provides lots of light. This is a quality product.

Pros: Range of Speeds, Works in Both Directions, Quiet, Circulates Air Well

Best Uses: Air Circulation, Medium Sized Bedroom

great fan
The light kit is slightly large for the fan proportions. Would like this fan to come without a light kit at all. Otherwise, it really moves the air!

Love this fan.
We searched for a ceiling hugger that fit our tastes and could not find one. So we purchased two of these fans for our long narrow great room. We actually have one of the exact design, but in nickel, in our home office. Love the design. Fits with contemporary and traditional. The fans have cut back significantly of our AC use, even in the hot summer.

Pros: Quiet, Circulates Air Well, Works in Both Directions, Range of Speeds

Best Uses: Alternative to AC, Decorative, Air Circulation

Bright light; quiet; classy look
We liked this fan because the light is bright enough for the whole room and it doesn't have an "80's" out-dated look of most ceiling fans. It does not disappoint! Works really well and is quiet. Only thing I'd change is put a bit of velcro behind the remote to keep it from being accidently knocked off the wall.

Pros: Circulates Air Well, Quiet, Works in Both Directions, Range of Speeds

Best Uses: Alternative to AC, Larger Rooms, Decorative, Air Circulation

Things to Consider
Be prepared to use the provided remote. I purchased three of these units. When installed with the receiver and remote, two things 1. the wall switch must remain in the "on" position to operate 2. only the remote will control the unit, any wall switch features will be bypassed. Unless you are lucky enough to find a wall switch that is compatible with the remote. (I was not so lucky)
When wired to the wall switch WITHOUT using the receiver and remote, operation is normal. BUT! you will no longer have control of the air flow direction. This unit does not provide an exterior toggle switch on the housing of the fan to regulate the updraft or downdraft.
I bought these for their appearance and am more than satisfied in that regard- they look spectacular.

Pros: Quiet, Circulates Air Well

Best Uses: Decorative, Air Circulation
