Noise is a problem
This fan looks great and the motor is quiet, but the problem is that due to what seems to be a flaw in the design, the blades make a cracking noise which is enough to wake up up at night.

I thought maybe my unit was a bad one. LampsPlus replaced it and the noise problem remained. The blades are not wood; they are plastic.
The Maverick is probably a better option.
