BEST ANSWER: Hi - this is a standard on-off toggle wall switch. You move the switch one way to turn on, the other to turn off.

Works fine feels hot
The switch is wired to two bathroom light fixtures using a total of six 60watt G9 halogen bulbs (totaling 360watts). When left on for a while the switch feels warm to the touch. It says it supports 600watts so I guess it's okay, but made me feel a little worried.
