What color is aged pewter? The image appears to be a dark bronze?

BEST ANSWER: The manufacturer describes their fans custom color as having an aged pewter finish. But for the best color description, please view the high resolution up-close pictures of the fans finish online. The shades of custom colors you see online is a great representation of what you will receive. If you like what you see in the high resolution pictures, then should like this item in person.
Can the light and fan each be wired separately to a wall switch ? I do not want to use the remote to control either.

BEST ANSWER: This ceiling fans speeds and lights are only designed to be controlled by the included hand-held remote or optional/recommended wall control (2-wire).

Nice fan
I love the small DC motor and that it’s extremely quiet. Yes I would recommend it. It’s pricey but well made.
